Bee and Samson both came to Rescue Rio in need of some security and love. After their time with us, they were both adopted into the same forever home and now spend their days together grazing and exploring their new home.

Steel & His Adopter
Steel was one of the first horses Rescue Rio took in, as well as one of our first success stories. Since his time with us, he has gone on to live a happy, comfortable life in his forever home.

Cupid's arrow hit straight and fast for these two! We think they are a great match and look forward to seeing all they do together! Providing Equine Assisted Services are in their future, as Brandi is soon to become a licensed clinical social worker and Hondo wants to be her wonderful and brilliant assistant! |

Sarah & Abe
Be careful when you come to volunteer with us...you might just get picked by a horse! Sarah will be the first one to say she never saw that coming! It was clear to everyone else though that she and Abe needed each other! They are a perfect match and we could not be happier for them both!

"Guinness" aka Izzy
Izzy, now named Guinness, was one of our youngest to come into the rescue at 4 months of age at the side of his mother, Sarah. He was adopted by an amazing lady who instantly fell in love with those big brown eyes! He went to his new home as a two year old and is thriving and growing up wonderfully!
